Dia de los Muertos, Day of the Dead

Dia de los Muertos is a Mexican tradition celebrated in November 1 and 2,
right after Halloween in the US. and it is linked to similar celebrations
around the world marking the end of Summer.

In Mexico the celebration is not about death it self. It's a day to
bring back fond memories of family or friends who died before us.

Altars are build with fun and colorful decorations, seasonal flowers, and food.

People build altars in their homes, in public places and in cemeteries.
Family members remember loved ones with their favorite foods and drinks, you can show pictures and artifacts representing their passions or hobbies.

It's a day to remember small details and big gestures,
it's a day to miss them, it's a day to tell stories to their heirs,
it's a day to remember what they liked
and eat or drink in their honor.

It is a day to celebrate their lives.
